This project is fully supported through a grant from Forest Renewal British Columbia, administered by the Science Council of British Columbia. This is a four year project (August 1997-July 2001) with a total budget of approximately $1.2 million Canadian dollars.

 

The project is linked to and collaborates with a similar one (CURE'e) conducted, on behalf of the State of California, by a consortium of California's universities (California Institute of Technology,  University of California San Diego, University of California Berkeley, Stanford University, University of California at Irvine).
